Allira Park has been breeding Arabian horses for over 37 years. The stud was founded in 1970 with the purchase of RIZZIE (Greylight x Rizala imp), ROSE MIST and REBUS (Fabulous x Rizzie). These original horses were of the very best Crabbet breeding available.
With the belief that the Arabian’s true gift is not only beauty but VERSATILITY, ENDURANCE, TEMPERAMENT, saddle horse CONFORMATION and a great HEART, our stud added many mares by the super show horse AETHON (which means “war horse”) and the three AETHON stallions – MINATAUR, SURANI and POLDARK.
AETHON was an incredible Arabian and show horse, which pranced into the ring full of fire and power. He has an unequalled show record –
- 5 times (consecutive) Supreme Arabian Exhibit – RAS Sydney and
- 6 times (consecutive) Supreme Arabian Exhibit – National Horse and Pony Show
Allira Park is proud to have based their breeding on AETHON’S bloodlines and also the bloodlines of his dam HESTIA through the mare ARABESQUE STARDUST (s. Abiram imp). Both AETHON and HESTIA are classical Arabians with the most sound conformation, temperament, presence and breath taking movement.
Allira Park is now moving into another phase with the creation of the ALLIRA PARK ALLIANCE to continue on with the AETHON / POLDARK legacy. More will be added to the website at a later date.
